Wildewood Pastry Shop specializes in custom cakes for any occasion. From writing and flowers, to scanned or drawn images, to edible dioramas, we can create the cake you need.

Standard custom cakes come in round or sheet cake varieties; we offer multiple sizes depending upon your serving needs. Round cakes have three layers of cake and two layers of filling; sheet cakes have two layers of cake with one layer of filling. To find out about flavor choices, drop by the shop or give us a call!

All custom cakes are hand-made by our pastry chef, who brings over 35 years of professional experience to each and every order.

To get a quote on a particular design, drop off a picture at the shop or send us an email with an image reference! Please note that quotes may not be immediate, and advance notice is required for all custom orders.

If you have toys or a topper that you would like us to use while decorating your cake, please provide these items sealed in their original packaging. Due to sanitary concerns, we cannot accept used or opened items, so please keep this in mind when ordering.

With four layers of cake and three layers of filling in each tier, tiered cakes are best suited to large gatherings. Tiered sizes typically start at 30 servings. If you need something smaller, we also offer single tier options that are taller than our standard round cakes. Both single-tier and multiple-tier cakes come on a sturdy silver board.

Advance notice for a tiered cake is ideally one week ahead of your desired pick up date. For a price quote on a particular design, feel free to drop by the shop with a picture, or send us an image of the design over email. Be sure to include important details such as serving size, flavor choices, and desired pick up date. Keep in mind that designs take time to review, and your design may take a few days to accurately quote. Base cake prices before decoration cost are readily available in store or via phone.

Due to the size and height of a tiered cake, no box will be provided on pick up. Additionally, store clerks cannot carry your tiered cake out of the shop for you, nor can they leave the shop to assist you. Please take these factors into account when picking up, and always bring someone to assist you in carrying your order out of the shop.

Looking for something more exciting than a standard round or sheet cake? 2D cakes add an extra dimension to your cake. There are many types of 2D cakes we can make. Number shapes are great for celebrating milestone birthdays or anniversaries. Sports shapes like basketballs or jerseys make a fun congratulatory cake for that big win at the end of the season. Or make your daughter feel like a princess with a fabulous doll cake!

2D cakes are a step up from just a drawn or printed image. Rather than being a round or sheet cake with an image on top, the whole cake is shaped into the desired design! These cakes are typically flat on top with a shape carved out from a top down view, or round with added volume on top. They can be shaped like animals, sports objects, accessories, hearts, crosses, vehicles, or just about anything you can imagine.

Most 2D cakes require only a standard one day notice, although, as with any order, weekend pickups should be ordered a few days in advance. If you are unsure of whether or not a design you have found qualifies as a 2D cake, just show us a picture in the shop or via email, and we'll let you know! Most 2D cakes have a flat price based on serving size; however, certain designs may require additional decoration cost.

A special variety of 2D cake we offer is the "doll cake". For a doll cake, a plastic doll is used as the central figure of the design, and the cake makes up the doll's dress. This type of 2D cake is an excellent choice for a princess-themed birthday party! You may provide a packaged doll for use in the decoration, or we will provide one for a fee. Please note that if we are providing the doll, appearance choices are typically limited to hair and skin color. Cake icing/dress color is customizable as usual!

Do you want to make your special occasion truly memorable? Then a luxury 3D cake may be for you!

A 3D cake is an edible work of art: carefully and skillfully sculpted into a fully three-dimensional shape, this cake can be appreciated from any angle. Our pastry chef puts his full skill to work in the creation of these incredible pieces, with weeks of design preparation before the actual crafting even begins. Plus, each 3D cake is designed to be fully edible, so your cake will taste as great as it looks. For an occasion you want to remember forever, these luxury cakes are the absolute best there is to offer!

Due to the complexity and intricacy involved in creating a 3D cake, the mininum serving size for each order starts at 20 servings, with a starting price of $8.50 per serving. Additionally, filling options for 3D cakes are limited to buttercream flavors, due to the stability that these dynamic designs require. All orders for 3D cakes must be placed at least two weeks in advance. No exceptions are possible for this rule. Always be sure to start the process of ordering early so we can guarantee your pickup date! Please note that for an order to be completed, a 30% minimum deposit of the order total is required.

As 3D cakes are typically quite large, and of unique shape, no box will be provided for 3D cakes upon pickup. 3D cakes are supported with a sturdy, high-quality cake board; however, proper carrying procedure should be followed to ensure safe transportation. Always keep two hands underneath the cake to distribute pressure and maintain balance. Our store clerks are unable to carry your 3D cake out of the shop for you, so please bring someone to assist you in carrying your cake out. Wildewood Pastry Shop accepts no responsibility for damages incurred to your cake after it leaves our care, so please take utmost care in transporting your cake to its destination.
